Almac POS ("we," "our," or "us") provides a point-of-sale application that helps businesses manage sales, inventory, and customer communications. INFORMATION WE COLLECT - Account information: name, email address, business name, and login credentials. - Transaction data: sales records, inventory items, prices, and payment metadata processed through the POS. - Google user data (Gmail): when you connect your Google Account, Almac POS requests access to Gmail in order to send receipts, invoices, and order confirmations to your customers on your behalf, and/or to read relevant transactional emails you designate. We only request the minimum Gmail scope needed for this purpose. - Device and usage data: IP address, browser/app version, and log data for security and troubleshooting. 2. HOW WE USE GOOGLE USER DATA Data accessed through the Gmail API is used exclusively to: - Send receipts, invoices, and order confirmations you initiate through Almac POS. - Retrieve and display transactional emails you explicitly link to a sale or customer record. Almac POS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements (see: https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy). We do not use Gmail data for advertising, and we do not sell Gmail data to third parties. We do not allow humans to read Gmail data except: (a) with your affirmative consent for a specific support request, (b) to comply with law, or (c) to investigate abuse of our systems. 3. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION We do not sell your personal information or Google user data. We may share information with: - Service providers who process data on our behalf (e.g., cloud hosting, payment processors), under confidentiality obligations. - Authorities, if required by law or to protect our legal rights. 4. DATA RETENTION We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active or as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Gmail access tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time (see Section 6). 5. DATA SECURITY We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use strong, unique passwords. 6.
